Fee Waivers

Fee Waivers are available for:

Both college entrance tests, the ACT and the SAT.  These tests are taken by students from September to December of their senior year and in the spring of their junior year.  See Mrs. May in the Career/College Center for these fee waivers.

AP (Advanced Placement Tests) A limited number of waivers are available.  See Ms. Facha in the Business office for these fee waivers.

PSAT For school year 2015-2016 all 9th through 11th grade students will take the PSAT during school on October 14, 2015.  The test will be administered at no cost to families.

To be eligible for a Fee Waiver one of the following criteria must be met:

  • Your family receives public assistance.
  • You are a ward of the state or an orphan
  • You live in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or are homeless.
  • You are enrolled in or eligible to participate in the federal National School Lunch Program.
  • You are enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., Federal TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
  • Your annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.

The best way to determine if a student is eligible for a fee waiver is to apply to the Fremont Unified School District Free or Reduced Price Lunch program.
