Overview

Becoming an advisor is an extra responsibility which requires dedication. A CLASS advisor makes a commitment for 4 years. We try hard to have 2 advisors per class (Grades 9-12)

   *Administration/Activities director approaches potential advisors at the end of the school year for the next year. Any interested staff, please contact Tori Mulcahy for more info. Current class advisers:

CLUB advisor makes a commitment for a year with the options for renewal each school year. 

Club advisors take full responsibility for the club they oversee. They attend meetings, fundraisers, or activities sponsored by the club. They oversee all club finances, and perform all duties assigned to the advisor as detailed in the club constitution and in the ASB advisor guidelines.

   *Club Advisors will be given 6 hours of the 40 hour duty as compensation
 
Class advisors take full responsibility for the class they oversee. They attend meetings, fundraisers, or activities sponsored by the class, such as homecomeing. They oversee all class finances, and perform all duties assigned to the advisor as detailed in the in the ASB advisor guidelines.
   *Class Advisors will be given 40 hours of the 40 hour duty as agreed compensation

Communication between Advisors, the Activities Director (Ms. Mulcahy) the account clerk (Ms. Facha) and the school secretary (Mrs. Kiester) are CRUCIAL for student success. 

Good communication leads to:

  • Up-to-date information regarding class/club activities
  • Organization of events
  • Publicity of fundraisers
  • NO miscommunication or false accusations!
