Hello!

I have been teaching at JFK since 1998 and I love this school and community. I live in Alameda with my husband & 2 of my younger kids. I have three children ages 25, 16 & 13 (Isaac, Annabel & Oskar). My family and I enjoy biking around the island, going to A's games, paddle boarding & hosting dinner parties. I love the diversity of our community and the bay area. Halloween is my favorite holiday!

I currently teach English 9A & 9H & I am the AVID Coordinator and I also teach AVID. I love teaching freshmen & I am a huge fan of AVID- I have seen it work for students over and over, by closing the opportunity gap by preparing all students for success in a global society.
